Aflive Island Outreach – 2022
In 2022, our outreach efforts continued as we journeyed to Aflive Island. Beyond donations, we engaged the community in educational talks, fostering a supportive environment and encouraging growth.
What We Brought to Aflive:
- Clothing and Shoes for All: Over 5,000 pieces of clothing and 200+ pairs of shoes were shared, meeting fundamental needs for families on the island.
- Educational Tools: With 60 specialized math sets, we empowered students to excel academically, building confidence and opening doors to future opportunities.
- Essential Care Supplies: The community received over GHC 1,500 worth of assorted toiletries, ensuring hygiene needs were met, alongside GHC 700 in groceries and GHC 2,000+ in food supplies.
- School Supplies: A generous donation of stationery worth GHC 1,000 provided the tools for young learners to succeed.
Our team held insightful discussions with community members, sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas to further enhance their well-being. This project exemplified our mission to support not just the physical needs but also the educational and social growth of the community.
